Privacy notice
This notice explains how Voyager handles personal information when you use Voyager.

Information we collect
We receive your name, email address, and profile image when you sign in with Google. We also store the trips you create or join, destinations, dates, itinerary locations, votes, group membership, budgets, bookings, packing items, notes, documents, emergency contacts, and feedback you choose to provide. Technical logs may include request paths, timestamps, status codes, and account identifiers.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, provide collaborative planning features, calculate routes and recommendations, keep shared trips in sync, protect the service, diagnose failures, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information.
Services that receive data
Voyager uses Google for sign-in, maps, places, and routes; OpenAI for optional AI recommendations; OpenRouteService for reachability; and Viator or GetYourGuide when tour search is used. Our hosting and PostgreSQL providers process application data in the region selected by the hosting provider. Public trip links disclose the itinerary sections selected by the trip owner, so review them before sharing.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and trip data while your account is active and as needed to operate, secure, and meet legal obligations for the service. During early access, deletion requests are handled manually. After verification, we aim to delete the account and associated personal data within 30 days, except for records we must retain by law or need briefly in protected backups.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion of your personal information. You can disable a trip's public share link and remove content you control in the app. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security and children
We use access controls and established hosting providers, but no online service can promise absolute security. Voyager is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly invite them to create accounts during early access.
